The AQUACON system comes with
one chlorine dioxide production unit
AQUACON WH01
and one analysis and control unit
AQUACON CLO2
The AQUACON WH01 needs HCL and
NaClO2 for operation. For regular
disinfection dosing is 0,02 to 0,04 mg
of chlorine dioxide per litre of
contaminated drinking water.
A large public swimming pool e.g.
needs HCL and NaCLO2 of estimated
worth of US$ 100 each month only.
The system works fully automatic and
gasification free.
Operation and handling is very easy
and can be enforced by regular
maintenance staff.
One unit of AQUACON WHO1 is
capable of producing chlorine dioxide
for disinfection of up to 40m² per hour
of drinking water.
The necessary number of analysis and
control units AQUACON CLO2
depends on the size of the pipe system
and the potential points of
contamination. If there is e.g. a cistern
on the roof of the building it is useful to
install an additional analysis unit there.
