A brief write-up on the company The company has been floated by Shram Vir B. J. Pherwani, who has over 25 years experience with one of the leading engineering giants in an allied field. Since 1992, we have the contract to supply interior trim systems for all of Mahindra’s closed body vehicles. This consisted of the following:  Complete interior body trim sets  Floor carpet kits In 1996, in the interest of being closer to our customer and with all the logistical benefits in mind, the operations were shifted to a new, purpose built factory at the current location at Nashik. In 1998 we installed a carpet moulding line and with technical assistance of M/s Johann Borgers GmbH. of Germany and have been supplying moulded floor carpets since then. With the changing business environment in India, in 1997, we decided that in order to remain competitive, we had to incorporate world class systems and quality standards. Come November the same year, we received our ISO 9002 certification from Underwriters Laboratories – USA, arguably the most respected certification institution in the world. 1999 saw us investing nearly Rs. 100 lac for the installation of a complete plant for the manufacture of Automotive U-bolts, Shackle Assemblies, Axle components and specialty fasteners. We have successfully developed the entire range of U-bolts for the Mahindra range of vehicles and have received orders from M/s Toyota Kirloskar Motors Ltd. Bangalore and M/s Eicher Motors Ltd., Pithampur for manufacture of U-bolts and Axle components for their vehicles. All along, all our efforts are towards making us one of the strong automotive ancillary players in western India. Realizing the fact that there is literally a world of opportunity ‘out there’, we have now decided to target replacement markets around the globe for our products. Sd /- Shram Vir B. J.
